Part-Time Project Manager

Overview:

Avenue Equestrian, the premier business consulting agency for equestrian businesses, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Project Manager to join an expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building businesses, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously while ensuring all aspects of the business are moving forward. This role will directly impact our ability to scale as a business, with opportunities for growth and increased responsibility as the company expands.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing email correspondence, and preparing documents and presentations.

  • Execute small tasks for client projects under the direction of the leadership team, such as sending emails on behalf of team members, creating strategy and pitch decks using tools like Canva, and developing process documents.

  • Utilize project management tools such as Monday.com or Asana to organize tasks, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.

  • Parallel process work with team members, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of tasks.

  • Work closely with Kelly and the rest of the team to understand project objectives, priorities, and timelines.

  • Maintain clear communication channels within the team, providing regular updates on project status, potential roadblocks, and recommended solutions.

  • Coordinate with external partners and clients as needed to facilitate project execution.

  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and project planning.

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement efficient workflows and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for building businesses and a strong interest in the equestrian industry.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Monday.com or Asana (experience preferred but not required).

  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous project management experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Familiarity with tools like Canva for creating visual content is desirable.

Schedule and Compensation:

  • Part-time role with an estimated 10-15 hours per month, with the potential for increased hours as business grows.

  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work remotely.

  • Compensation commensurate with experience.
